Emmit Coots

Owner and founder Emmit Coots and a proud member of the Citizen Pottawatomi Nation has been in the construction industry since 1996.  His best personality trait is the need and desire to succeed in all the endeavors that he faces. As learned in the United States Marine Corps – failure is not an option. He has carried this thought process through life. This is achieved through hard work and determination and being taught at a young age how to work by his family. As a youth, he was taught the rugged ways of construction. The United States Marine Corps taught him about discipline and accomplishing the mission. Texas A&M refined and educated him. And the last 25 years in construction have taught him how to build – both teams and projects. These things in life have made Emmit what he is today. After being a part of two new startups since 2010 – BNC Construction and Blitz Contractors, the valuable lessons learned there have allowed him to redefine who he is as a person and better his skills in the construction industry to better serve the end-user.  With low overhead, Stooc G.C. is very competitive against those they bid against.

Through those two business ventures, Emmit has been part of shaping many visions for our Owners and end-users. His list of accomplishments runs deep over the last twenty-five years leading him to where he is today.
